Salma Khan

Salma Khan is a Grade 4 pupil at Bridge, Telaprolu. Salma’s dad is a carpenter and her mum makes handicrafts. As you can see from the picture, Salma has definitely inherited her mum’s crafting skills!

When Salma joined Bridge in Grade 2 she wasn’t at the learning level of her classmates. She was not able to recognise words and used to sit quietly in her classes. It was difficult for her teachers to determine whether she was able to comprehend the lessons or not.

Now, two years down the line and Salma is a completely different girl! Happy and confident, she knows how to express herself and likes to participate in events. She was recently awarded the “Good Reader” prize for her class. Way to go, Salma!
